In April of this year, Fangda Group’s Northern Heavy Industry Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “NHI”) successfully held the launch ceremony for its cultural and sports activities, marking the official kickoff of the company’s series of cultural and sports competitions.

Since joining Fangda Group in April 2019, NHI driven by mixed-ownership reform, has not only achieved significant improvements in its production and operations but has also made remarkable achievements in shaping the spirit of its employees. Over the past six years, diverse cultural and sports activities organized by the company have not only ignited employees’ enthusiasm for work but has also integrated team spirit and an innovative mindset into daily operations. Sports and Cultural Associations Boost Corporate Culture Development

After mixed-ownership reform, NHI has recognized the critical role of employees’ physical and mental health and cultural development for the long-term development of the company. To create a dynamic and harmonious work environment, the company has established six cultural and sports associations: basketball, football, badminton, table tennis, arts, and comprehensive sports. These associations have organized a series of activities including badminton, basketball, table tennis, shuttlecock, long-distance running, tug-of-war, and competitions in calligraphy, painting, and photography. Before each event, association leaders and labor union staff meticulously prepare by tailoring rules to the specifics of the activity and employees’ needs, fully mobilizing enthusiasm for participation.

Meanwhile, NHI has actively invested in infrastructure development, constructing four basketball courts, one football pitch, six table tennis courts, and six badminton courts, providing high-quality venues for employees. These facilities have become pivotal platforms for corporate culture development. During these events, employees have strengthened friendships, deepened mutual understanding and trust, and gradually cultivated a spirit of collaboration and positivity.

Through diverse sports and cultural activities, NHI has successfully nurtured a strong “family culture,” enhancing employees’ sense of identity and belonging. In recent years, NHI has successively hosted events such as the Shenyang City Recitation Contest Celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the Founding of New China and Paying Tribute to Shenyang as a Heroic City, as well as the “Mutual Aid Assurance Cup” Fun Sports Meet for Workers organized by the Shenyang Mechanical, Light, and Chemical Industry Labor Union.

During these events, employees of NHI fully demonstrated their talents. At the finals of the recitation contest paying tribute to Shenyang as a heroic city, Zhang Jian’s heartfelt recitation of “The Spirit of ‘One Hundred Thousand Military Picks’ Lives On” earned applause from the on-site audience. On the sports field, employees like Ding Qiang and Guan Changming competed fiercely in events such as the high jump, long jump, 400 meters, and 1000 meters, achieving outstanding results and bringing honor to the company. These achievements embody the employees’ spirit of perseverance and courage to take on challenges, and have further strengthened their sense of collective honor and belonging to the company.
