On the occasion of the 61st anniversary of Chairman Mao Zedong's call for "Learning from Comrade Lei Feng", BeiJing Heavy Industry organised more than 50 employee representatives, including middle and senior leading cadres, model workers, excellent party members and young post masters, to go to the Lei Feng Memorial Hall in Fushun City, so as to take practical actions to learn and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on the in-depth implementation of the activity of learning from Lei Feng.

On March 2nd, with great respect, everyone arrived at the Lei Feng Memorial Hall in Fushun City by car. Under the leadership of Liang Xiu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Trade Union, we jointly presented flowers to the tomb of Lei Feng and paid homage to the statue of Lei Feng with great respect, expressing our nostalgia and admiration for Comrade Lei Feng. The image of Lei Feng is deeply imprinted in everyone's heart.

During the visit, the staff learnt about Lei Feng's firm ideals and beliefs, his dedication to serve the people wholeheartedly, his "screw" spirit of love and dedication, his "nail" spirit of hard work, and his spirit of diligence and thriftiness through each item displayed in the exhibition hall. These spiritual qualities deeply shocked every visitor's mind and baptised everyone spiritually. Employees expressed that they should bear in mind the instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping, learn the noble qualities in Lei Feng, pass on the Lei Feng spirit, and play an exemplary leading role in project production and daily work, so as to let the Lei Feng spirit bloom more brightly in the company.

The visit was not only a review of history, but also a spiritual baptism. Through this activity, NHI enabled its employees to have a deeper understanding of the connotation and value of Lei Feng Spirit, and also inspired them to actively practice the spirit of Lei Feng.
